Press Release #3, March 18th 2008 Anticipation issues Progress Report #1.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Anticipation, the 67th World Science Fiction Convention released its first Progress Report on March 18th, 2008.
Anticipation plans to produce four Progress Reports in the run-up to the Convention. Progress Report #2 is scheduled to be released in July 2008
Progress Report 1 (PR1) includes a wide range of articles including two appreciations of Taral Wayne, the Anticipation Fan Guest of Honour, and a retrospective on the 1977 Worldcon Bid, by its Chair Andrew Porter.
The cover illustration of PR1 is by Aurora Award winning artist Jean-Pierre Normand.
Paper copies of PR #1 will be mailed shortly to those members of Anticipation who have requested one. Downloadable PDFs, including a large print version, are currently available online at: https://www.anticipationsf.ca/English/ProgressReports
The 67th World Science Fiction Convention, known as Anticipation, will take place in Montréal, Québec, Canada from Thursday, August 6th through Monday, August 10th, 2009.
