Press Release #14, December 2008
Anticipation Issues Progress Report #3.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Anticipation, the 67th World Science Fiction Convention, released its third Progress Report on December 14, 2008.
Anticipation plans to produce four Progress Reports in the run-up to the Convention. Progress Report #4 is scheduled for release in April 2009.
This report includes a variety of material, including examples of Taral Wayne’s fan art, information on programming, exhibits, events (including the Masquerade), special Via Rail rates, updated membership information, and details about the awards associated with the convention. The cover illustration is by Michelle Laframboise. She draws from her scientific background to create stories filled with humour, poetry and humanism. A science-fiction lover since childhood, she juggles her time between drawing comics, running to events, writing stories, and her family. She lives in Toronto, and has won Aurora awards for her novels and short stories.
Paper copies of PR #3 will be mailed to those members of Anticipation who have requested one. Downloadable PDFs (including a large print version) are currently available online at: http://www.anticipationsf.ca/English/ProgressReports
