Anticipation chosen to host Prix Auroras and Canvention 2009.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Anticipation is honoured to host the Prix Aurora Awards (http://www.prixaurorawards.ca), which are traditionally presented at Canvention, the Canadian national science fiction convention. Since 1980, the Canadian SF and Fantasy Association has recognized a variety of francophone and anglophone contributions to fandom; categories have included literature, editing, art, and con-running. Associated events, guests, nominees, and voting information will be announced on the Anticipation website once they have been finalized.
The 67th World Science Fiction Convention, known as Anticipation, will take place in Montréal, Québec, Canada from Thursday, August 6th through Monday, August 10th, 2009.
